Which would be more efficient to pick up in this event? Katen or Ryujin as I need a better zanpakuto asap.

I would say for u to wait.
A New zampakuto should be coming in a few months...
but If u really want one NOW , i would say Ryujin

Pretty sure the rumours were that the next Zampakuto would be Ichibe’s, Ichimonji.

between those two, RJ wins in 99% of situations...  you CAN build a team around Katen where you get more damage there, but for most peeps, RJ wins out easily
