I have question about 1st part of new event, does credits reset every day, or stay?

They reset.
(Read the event description :p )"Tasks wil l be reset at 00:00 next day"
I'm guessing the points will reset as well, but if they don't then the amount of points required will still go up by 3 and 6 respectively. (So either the points reset and it's 3 and 6 points to get the next rewards or the points don't reset and it will be 9 and 12 for the next ones)

It's the instance on the map, you need to do it manually or it won't count.
