I've been thinking of making a large purchase in a few months and am trying to plan ahead...

~~this is assuming that nothing game changing happens between now and then~~

I am assuming most of you know what my team looks like more or less, I can add pics but really, I've already littered the forums with it enogh IMO, lol

I was of course thinking that Ryujin Jakka would be a great replacement for my Hyorinmaru, and before today I was basicly sold on him without any question..

~However~

Today I thought that I'm gonna get KS sooner or later, so it would be kind of silly to drop a grand for something I'd get something similar to with time...  So I thought...  I run a hard stacked vanguard, and once I get Muken set up, my pve should be good...   So what would help my pvp?  Then it came to me...  Gerald Valkyre...  a vanguard on a level that I will never get unless I top up...

I didn't say anything about Muken stopping you.
RJ is useless vs Kyoka Suigetsu. There is too much of a problem in this matter so I'd rather not discuss it.
Muken can break through RJ's defence and do enough damage to oneshot the opponent.
Muken is everyone's saviour in thie case. That is why I tell you

Muken himself, if built as he is supposed to be built, can take care of all opponents.
Since you have him as something that will give you victory, you have to better safeguard your trump card.
Since he is slower than other partners that could cause problems for him, you should get Hasch since he is able to clear any chaos or silence that could have been put on your Muken(with Hasch's shield).

Muken currently controls the whole game.
Hasch and such are just his followers

my issue with minazuki is that for that price I could just pick up RJ instead of nursing a near RJ counter till I get the real one...   for an orange support, maybe...  just maybe...  but for now I"m still mulling it over, lol

So yeah, you wont have much to spare for your VG since it will take a long time to build a good Muken, so why not just go for Kukaku and RJ?

ATM my vang is Hyorin, my TSI is at 1.6M BP and my red tavern Byaukua is around 800k...  still have prob 3 or 4 seasons till i get my Muken so I'm quite sure once I pick him up I will have close to 1M attack on him (My poorly evoed TSI brok 600k recently is where I"m getting that 1M attack from...  tier 11 hogu level 10, 2x level 12 str, 4x level 11 str, level 45 level 130 ultimate str acc 4x blaze, 2x dark I think gears, ect...)   1M may be a big more than what I come up with, but it's not too far off I believe...  Muken should show up at least 3 star, prob close to 5 or 6...   within a week or two with Muken I think he will move me up to top 5 in CSB honestly

Looks like you already put your mind into what you want to get lol, you are just trying to find someone that can change your mind.
btw,

Supports are meant to crowd control with whatever debuf they can cast.
Assaulters are meant for mass damage.
Vanguards are meant to take the beating to protect hit from supports and assaulters. (ruins it by these attack all partners lol! but their buff is now more important)

So even with VG, it shouldnt bother you too much, because you will build most attack stuff on your Assaulters, especially you will use Muken. You will most likely not gonna have enough stuff to buff the VG's attack.

few small things...   first off, yeah, KS vs Jakka...  Jakka is hella nice, but KS is much cheaper, lol  and once I pick up Muken first, KS should come quicker than expected...   as for Hasch, he IS great, but I dunno, my PVP is almost completely my Vang, I'm sure Muken will change that a fair bit, but I still expect the end of the fight to be TSI vs the world against the peeps i'm worried about...  my middle row will be set once I get Muken with red byaukua for void, muken full time, and main full time...  my support line is Shinso and Retsu K, so me being faster than most peeps in my CSB higher than me is not very likely, making KS that much more attractive...   as for Valkyre...  I"m looking for a fantastic partner to carry me a little further...  TSI is great for sure, but valk has more raw strength, defense, and HP... add to that the fact that he's better at buffing up my team, and I can get his block rate up around that 150% area without sacrificing much in the form of mods IMO...   Hasch would be awesome, I just think Valk will help me much more than just PVP...  as for kukaku, she is a monster, however she just doesn't have the raw damage output I"m looking for, plus her mods are all so fantastic I just couldn't stomach changing more than one or two to block...
