Kukaku's evolution is basically the same as Ichibe. One thing I noticed, though, is that in evolution lvl 6 for Ichibe, it's noted there are 25 11th division belts, but I counted 30 in Kukaku's evolution.

True. Haven't had to evolve a vanguard before, personally.
I probably could have been farther by now as well if I wasn't doing Oetsu concurrently.

Oetsu will be one of my next projects. But only as boundmaterial, so i don´t need to evolve him at least. Same for ichibe later.
Don´t see him too important to use him.

I believe he might be important for taking down tough vanguards if you can get him to survive (his high wisdom growth also helps with that). I already have a hard time killing Kosmo's Ichibe, and he doesn't have wisdom defense on it.

If we both have berserk renji, it's going to be a draw anyway. defensive Vanguard vs Vanguard doesn't work.
