I think the vg with more hp gets the win then.
Had it yesterday in csb vs. bwg. Somehow my whole crew was too stupid to survive and my vg had some more hp than his Kensei after 20 rounds and i got the win.

Huh. Never knew that was a thing. But then that already makes Ichibe much harder due to his insane hp.

I tried it in some arena fights too. Maybe it was by chance but i won always, when my total remaining hp was more.

100% correct.
Had a nice van stacking war with a guy in game,
He would win because neither of us could do any damage,
but his hp was higher.
Eventually had to out hp him lol.
