not really , Ichigo is purple standard , and those who use him would have wasted exp books and other stuff on him plus he uses a spirit blade which very few use for now , so item + exp book wasted unless you are a very low level free player then he is gold

For cash players, yes Ichigo is useless since you have Rangiku.
For free to play players, Ichigo can be their 2nd dd in daily activities.
Ichigo also plays a role for player's pvp strategy in hitting opponent assaulter directly (eg. Ichigo, Lisa & 6th skill).
