That said, against a maxed out Noza he probably does more bad than good cause he ll surely kill at least one of your team partners with the buff

Dude it can happen if you are stronger than your opponent as you could see Aizen saved the day, if Aizen didn't keep his Noza locked for a few rounds

Another thing I guess at that time they didn't have evolution and bonds and those features made Noza shine

For sure, I didn't want to bring out the fact Noza can achieve 136% block passively cus it is quite hard to get to lvl 30 on bond
