not only focus on reiatsu but you have to balanced it between equipment-partner and reiatsu.at around lv50s you may need at least lv20 reiatsu to compete with lv50 opponent at arena.

wabisuke is too weak and almost useless, it isn't really worth upgrade, switch him the moment you get haineko

that means you have to spend your silver wisely for equipment, partner and reiatsu.

best free zanpakuto:
haineko => from main quest lv50
kazeshini => main quest lv65
zabimaru => from achievement

if you top up a little, you can get zanpakuto tobiume, she is good until lv65

zanpakuto strength is based on which stage it is.

1st stage: original
2nd stage: shikai
3rd stage: bankai (requirement: minimum lv21 or 22 reiatsu. i forgot )
4th stage: hogyoku-kai (requirement: minimum lv41 reiatsu)

when you have higher lv of reiatsu, you have more zanpakuto bonus
