You realize that equal teams would mean that both sides fight exactly the same, since Hikifune is a Sup and Shuhei a Assault... which means it comes down to how the Game gambles on speed. (<1000 difference is kinda random i think)

Hisagi's disarm chance is surely way below 50% from what I've seen.


Assuming 1 team with Hiki and one team with Hisagi and otherwise:

Oetsu, Ichibe, Main and Kensei:

Hikifune goes first, throws enemy Oetsu+kensei+main off T1.
My oetsu does his skill, randomly kills one that survived (kensei most likely died already), hisagi+oetsu would not survive Hikifune+oetsu.
Kensei has a chance to disarm ichibe.
Ichibes do their thing.
Next round Kensei might disarm ichibe again + some normal attacks. x2
Ichibe certainly dies the next time Oetsu skills.

Thats pretty much how it would go... you can quite easily imagine what would happen if you replace:
Oetsu with SWP/CSB Aizen
Ichibe with another good VG.
Kensei with other Assault.

I don't understand what you mean by that. Equipment will always be extremely important. That won't stop being the case, or even less of a case.

Ultimate Equipment is far and away more powerful then crafted stuff. Ultimate Equipment gives flat bonus agility. Ultimate Equipment stops at level 130. There is no level 140 or 150 ultimate gear.

So, unless they introduce higher Ultimate Equipment sets, eventually, a higher growth rate will out preform 5% increased agility. When that happens, is another story. It may be level 140, it may be level 175, but that 5% increased agility has a ceiling based on base agility, where as growth rate has a ceiling only based on level of the character.

You're ASSUMING there'll be no ultimate equipment passed 130. You're ASSUMING that even without the ultimate equipment that means anything at all.
All of these assumptions but no facts.
Just stop arguing.

I might be wrong, but I think that if those numbers are correct, the +10% bonus from Oetsu's Halo aren't shown in his stats.

However, in the same team+evo, hikifune should become faster than Oetsu at very high levels where her growth rate overtakes Oetsu's higher base value (unless I fail to understand something important here).

The biggest wild card would be Tenjiro, who'd be faster than all in theory... but his current evo lacks a lot of speed.

So, Oetsu, Tenjiro and Hikifune would actually make a quite perfect combo - which does only lack the appropriate Zanpakuto.

Fact is, at my level, Kirio is faster. The only explanation that makes any sense is Oetsu's higher Agility talent combined with Ultimate gear for 120. Extrapolation using current information ( No other Ultimate Equipment currently in the game ), is not assumption, it is speculation based on math.

You're literally saying "I don't have enough agility on my character" as an argument for why your oetsu is slower than your hikifune. It's not just equipment, it's also treasure and accessories. You're simply weaker and pushing all of the blame on your equipment. It's a much bigger thing than you're realizing.

The stronger you grow the faster than Hiki your Oetsu will become. You can't use your own weakness as an argument.
In the higher levels of the game, Oetsu is faster. I'm not sure why you're pushing this so far, it's a matter of like 3k speed.
Even much later on it'll still only be a matter of a few thousand speed.
